1. The following four points PQRS are situated in four quadrants. 

Draw the orthographic projections of them about a single reference line, assuming that their projectors are spaced 30 mm apart horizontally.

a) P is 30 mm above HP and 40 mm in front of VP.

b) Q is 25 mm above HP and 35 mm behind VP.

c) R is 32 mm below HP and 38 mm behind VP.

d) S is 36 mm below HP and 38 mm in front of VP. (10 marks)

2. A line AB measuring 70 mm has its end A 15 mm in front of VP and 20 mm above HP and other end B is 60 mm in front of VP and 50 mm above HP. 

Draw the projections of the line and find the inclinations of the line with both the reference planes of projections. Also mark the traces. (10 marks)

3. A line EF 75mm long has its end E, 25 mm above HP and 20 mm in front of VP. The line is inclined at 500 to HP and 300 to VP. 

Draw projections of the line and find out the length of front view and top view. (10 marks)

1. Draw the projections of the following points in a common XY line and state the quadrants:

A, 20 mm in front of VP, on HP.

B, 45 mm above HP and 30 mm in front of VP.

C, 35 mm below HP, 35 mm in front of VP.

D, 28 mm above HP and 34 mm behind VP.

E, 30 mm behind VP, 40 mm below HP.

2. Draw the projections of a line PQ, 80 mm long, which is inclined at 30 ͦ to HP and 45 ͦ to VP. The end P is 20 mm above HP and on VP. Mark traces.

3. The end point R of a line RS is 7 mm above HP and 10 mm in front of VP. The other end S is 55 mm above HP and 40 mm in front of VP. 

The distance between the projectors is 70 mm. Draw projections; mark traces and find TL, ɸ and θ.

3. The end point A of a line AB of length 80 mm, is 5 mm above HP and 10 mm in front of VP.

2. Draw the projections of a line AB, 90 mm long, which is inclined at 40◦ to HP and 35◦ to VP. The end A is on HP and 20 mm in front of VP. Mark traces.
