Kerala Technological University released there syllabus for S 3 to S 8   B tech Students.

Mechanical engineering is  that  the principles of engineering, materials science physics, and for the manufacturing, design,maintenance and analysis of mechanical systems.

Mechanical engineering is the branch of engineering that involves in the production, design and operation of machinery.

It consists of  thermodynamics, kinematics, mechanics, structural analysis, materials science  and electricity.

The  Mechanical engineers use these core principles.

And also with some other tools such as computer-aided design, heating and cooling systems, industrial equipment and machinery, product lifecycle management to design and analyze manufacturing plants, transport systems, robotics,  aircraft, medical devices, weapons, watercraft  and others.

Civil engineering deals with the construction, design and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including works like dams, buildings, bridges,  roads and canals.

They are the second-oldest engineering  after military engineering. 

Now it is  broken into several sub-groups such as  environmental engineering,  control engineering, architectural engineering, structural engineering, forensic engineering, geotechnical engineering,  earthquake engineering.

And also many others like Transportation engineering, municipal or urban engineering, materials engineering, construction engineering, construction surveying, water resources engineering, wastewater engineering, coastal engineering, offshore engineering and  facade engineering.

Information technology contains  the application of computers and storeing of internet, transmit, manipulate data or information and retrieve. It is considered as a main one in communications technology and  information.

Several industries are associated with IT , including computer software, internet,   telecom equipment, semiconductors, hardware, electronics,engineering, healthcare, computer services, and e-commerce.

Aerospace engineering is the  field of engineering for the development of spacecraft and aircraft.It is coverted into two types mainly Astronautical engineering and Aeronautical engineering.

Aeronautical engineering was the original term for the field. As flight technology advanced to include craft operating in outer space, the broader term "aerospace engineering" has largely replaced it in common usage. 

Aerospace engineering is also refferred as as "rocket science".

Electrical engineering is the  field of engineering that  deals with the study of electronics, electromagnetism and electricity. 

Broadcasting and recording media made electronics part of daily life. 

The invention of the integrated circuit{IC}, transistor,  brought down the cost of electronics to the point they can be used in almost any household object.

Automobile engineering is a branch of vehicle engineering.It is a combination  of mechanical, electronics, electrical, safety engineering  and  software engineering. 

It is  applied to the design, manufacture and operation of motorcycles, automobiles and trucks and their respective engineering subsystems.

Computer engineering is also a combination of electrical engineering and computer science to develop computer  software  and hardware.

Computer engineers also have training in electronic engineering and  electrical engineering, software design, and hardware-software integration instead of only software engineering or electronic engineering. 

Computer engineers are involved in many software aspects of computing and hardware, from the design of individual microprocessors, microcontrollers, supercomputers  and personal computers  to circuit design.

This field of engineering not only focus on how computer systems  work, but also they integrate into  larger picture.

Electronic engineering  or Electronics engineering, is an Electrical engineering which utilizes non-linear and active electrical components.

Such as semiconductor devices like integrated circuits{IC}, diodes  and transistors to design electronic circuits, microprocessors, devices, microcontrollers. 

It also designs passive electrical components, usually based on printed circuit boards.

It is the application of  for healthcare purposes. It consists of engineering principles and design concepts to medicine and Biology.

This field seeks to close between engineering and medicine
